If you haven’t already started planning your 2008 Memorial High School class reunion, your Alumni office is ready to help you get started. We can provide an up-to-date list of your classmates as well as mailing labels. In addition, we can offer ideas for your reunion including locations, decorations, commemorative items, class reunion booklets, tee shirts, entertainment, school tours, plus hotel discounts and a city tour for out-of-town attendees
A great idea: Plan an informal reunion party around Memorial’s October 18, 2008 Football Homecoming Tailgate Party. The tailgate is sponsored by your Alumni Association and will be located on the campus of Memorial. The event includes a free picnic dinner preceding the homecoming game at Enlow Field. All Memorial friends, alumni, students and parents are invited. Over 500 people attended the 2007 Tailgate Party with four class reunions making the 2007 Tailgate event part of their reunion celebration

MHS Class of 1948 will have its 60-year class reunion beginning with a dinner in the Las Vegas Room at Casino Aztar Hotel (421 NW Riverside Dr., Downtown Evansville) on Friday, September 26, 2008, at 5:00 p.m. (cocktail hour at 5:00 p.m. and dinner served at 6:00 p.m.) and a luncheon in the Las Vegas Room at Casino Aztar Hotel on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. For more information or to make reservations, please contact Marilyn (Mooney) Timmons 812-477-3190.
MHS Class of 1953 will have its 55-year class reunion on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at the Main Street Hall Events Building (520 Main St, Downtown Evansville). The reunion will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will cost $35.00 per person. A picture CD of all attendees will be an additional $5.00. MHS Class of 1972 will have its 36-year class reunion on Saturday, October 11, 2008, featuring Booger Bob’s Chili! The festivities will be from 1:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. with chili served at 3:00 p.m. at Burdette Park Shelter #18 (5301 Nurrenbern Rd, Evansville). The cost to attend is $15.00 per person which includes all-you-can-eat chili, hot dogs, all the fixings, soft drinks, coffee and door prizes! Please bring a snack, salad or dessert to share with others.
MHS Class of 1978 will begin celebrating its 30-year class reunion on Friday, October 17, 2008, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at the lake house of Mary Jane (Notter) King and Ellen (Notter) Green (3466 Millersburg Rd, Boonville) with a bon fire, hot dog roast and s’more over-dose; bring your own drinks and a lawn chair. The reunion continues on Saturday, October 18, 2008 with a golf scramble at Oak Meadow Country Club at 10:00 a.m., and a party at The Pub Restaurant (1348 Division St, Evansville) following the MHS Homecoming Game from 9:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. for drinks, appetizers and dancing the night away to Scott Gibson’s band, “Better than Nuttin”!
